Martin H. Herzog

Chief Executive Officer

Martin (Marty) H. Herzog is the President & CEO of J. Herzog & Sons, Inc., a privately owned real estate investment and management firm specializing in the redevelopment of properties throughout the nation.

In 1983, J. Herzog & Sons, Inc. (JHS) was established with the core philosophy of investing in and developing existing undervalued real estate in order to uncover its full potential. Under his leadership, JHS began to acquire real estate assets, including strip centers and enclosed malls.

Today, JHS is a full service real estate company with in-house leasing and management expertise. Currently, JHS owns and manages over 4.6 million square feet of retail properties, 1 full-service hotel and 11 franchise restaurants in the portfolio.

Marty received his BS in Economics with a minor in Geology at the University of Colorado in 1968.

Mark A. Huttner

President

Mark A. Huttner is the President of J. Herzog & Sons, Inc. and is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the operations, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and property management departments. Mark has over 18 years of experience in managing all aspects of commercial real estate. Previously Mark was the Director of Finance as well as Chief Operating officer, and has been a part of the JHS team for over 10 years.

In addition to his time at JHS, Mark served as Director of Leasing for Amerivest Properties, directing the leasing efforts of 17 office buildings and completing 284 lease transactions representing in excess of $60 million of lease value. Mark has also served as Vice President of Asset Management for Venator Group Realty, Inc. where he was responsible for leasing, disposition and property management of 296 buildings generating $12 million in annual revenue.

Mark received his BS in Business with a focus on Accounting from the University of Colorado in 1984 and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas in 1987.

F. Patrick Listermann

Chief Operating Officer

F. Patrick Listermann is the Chief Operating Officer of J. Herzog & Sons, Inc. and is responsible for managing the operations of over 4 million sq. ft of properties. He oversees all personnel involved with the management, leasing, construction and marketing of all the properties. Patrick has over 18 years of commercial real estate experience.

Prior to JHS, Patrick worked for ProLogis in their Acquisitions and Due Diligence Department. During his tenure at ProLogis, Patrick was responsible for acquiring over $100,000,000 in industrial properties. He also assisted in the acquisition of over $200,000,000 in manufactured home communities, $400,000,000 of refrigerated warehouses in Sweden and $620,000,000 of office and retail buildings in Paris, France.

Patrick received a Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1987 and his Masters of Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver in 1994.

Dan McKinney

Vice President of Leasing

Dan McKinney is the Vice President of Leasing for J. Herzog & Sons, Inc. and is responsible for overseeing leasing for 4 million sf of retail properties and generating over $90,000,000 Leasing Value. Dan has over 10 years of commercial property management and has been with JHS for over 7 years.

Prior to joining JHS, Dan was Partner and Vice President of Property Management for Dunton Commercial Real Estate. He was responsible for managing over 3.5 million square feet of Retail properties, negotiating and executing lease agreements, performing lease administration, managing vendor and tenant relations, performing due diligence on all new acquisitions on behalf of third party clients . While at Dunton Commercial Real Estate, Dan was responsible for increasing the property management by 47% over 7 years and performed leasing in excess of 6.8 million dollars of value.

Dan received a BS in Business Administration from Metro State College at Denver in 1994.

Amy Johnson

National Marketing Manager

Amy Johnson is the National Marketing Manager at J. Herzog & Sons, Inc. She develops marketing plans for each of the assets in the real estate portfolio and oversees all marketing initiatives at the properties and within the local communities. She implements new and creative marketing tools and oversees the marketing budgets to ensure each property is performing at the highest possible level and utilizing best industry practices. Amy has more than 10 years of experience in marketing, including seven years in commercial real estate marketing at CBRE and Grubb & Ellis.

Beverly Zimmerman

Human Resource Director

Beverly Zimmerman is the Human Resources Director at J. Herzog & Sons, Inc. She joined JHS in 2007 and is responsible for overseeing more than 400 employees in 19 locations across 11 states. Beverly implements and manages all benefits and payroll functions for the JHS retail properties, restaurants and the corporate office. Beverly has more than 20 years of experience in human resources management and company operations.

Alan L. Roeder, CPA

Vice President – Accounting/Controller

Alan L. Roeder is the Vice President of Accounting/Controller for J. Herzog & Sons, Inc. (JHS) and is responsible for all corporate accounting, taxation of all partnerships and corporations, governmental compliance, and overall company cash management. Alan has over 28 years of accounting experience and has been with JHS for more than 20 years. Prior to JHS, Alan worked for Godfrey & Hay as an accounting manager. He also worked for Johnson, Duncan & Hollowell where he was responsible for managing real estate taxation within multiple entities and worked to resolve taxation challenges that resulted from the Tax Reform Act.

Alan received his BS in Accounting from Fort Hays State University in 1984 and is currently a Certified Public Accountant.
